72 Hours

As the House continues to make progress on health insurance reform, Speaker Pelosi pledged this week that the health reform legislation, and any manager's amendment, will be posted online for Members of Congress and the public to read and review the legislation for at least 72 hours before the House votes:

Reporter: Madam Speaker, do you support the measure to put the final House bill online for 72 hours before it’s voted on at the very end?

Speaker Pelosi: Absolutely. Without question.
