Another day, another poll showing the American people overwhelmingly oppose the GOP plan to end Medicare. Bloomberg poll out this morning:
By a 23-point margin, more Americans say they would be worse off under the Republican-Ryan plan ending Medicare and giving seniors a voucher (57 percent to 34 percent) – including 58 percent of independents.
61 percent of those age 35 and older and 63 percent of those age 55 and older say they would be worse off under the GOP plan. Just one quarter of those age 55 and older say it would be better for them (26 percent).
By a 9-point margin, more Americans trust Democrats over Republicans to do a better job dealing with Medicare.
