By a 12-point margin (41 percent to 29 percent) Americans trust President Obama over Congressional Republicans “to develop solutions to the country’s economic challenges.” Last September, 37 percent chose the President and 35 said Republicans.
By a 9-point margin (42 percent to 33 percent) Americans trust President Obama over Congressional Republicans “to make the right decisions about how to reduce the federal budget deficit.” Last September, 38 percent chose Congressional Republicans while 36 percent said the President.
Republican rhetoric simply can’t hide the truth about their record.
48 percent of voters would prefer that Democrats take back control of the House while 37 percent would like Republicans to maintain control.
