First, the Republican Conference holds a session on how to successfully communicate with minorities and women.
Then, they announced a class for their Members on how to talk to women and Speaker Boehner advised:
“…Be a little more sensitive…”
Now, as millions of Americans are faced with the real consequences of Republican leaders’ refusal to extend unemployment benefits – the cold truth is House Republicans needed a memo to tell them to “show compassion.”
The Washington Post: House GOP leaders coach rank-and-file on discussing unemployment
House Republican leaders sent a memo this week to the entire GOP conference with talking points designed to help rank-and-file Republicans show compassion for the unemployed and explain the Republican position on unemployment benefits.
